LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Are you looking for a unique Christmas experience? Look no further, the Little Rock Zoo will be opening their doors to Christmas in the Wild.

Christmas in the Wild will be held December 8 and 15, both days opening at 9:30 a.m. There will be arts and crafts for the family to participate in while sipping on hot cocoa. Santa will also be there to meet every child. Tickets will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

AETN's 'Clean Lines, Open Spaces' wins three Emmys

CONWAY, Ark. (AETN) — “Clean Lines, Open Spaces: A View of Mid-Century Modern Architecture,” a production of the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN), received three Emmys in the 2012 annual awards competition of the Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

“There is no greater sense of satisfaction than being recognized by one’s talented peers in this industry, especially those who vote in the regional Emmy Awards competition,” AETN Director of Production Carole Adornetto said.

“Clean Lines, Open Spaces,” a documentary by AETN Senior Producer Mark Wilcken, explores mid-century modern architecture through a regional lens of the American south. The film details how international influences helped shape the built environment of Arkansas after World War II.

The one-hour film was recognized with an award for Best Cultural Documentary, and Wilcken received individual awards for Best Writing and Best Editing.

It's So Official - Little Rock Fashion Week 2012!

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 16-21) - For fashion enthusiasts from everywhere, it's that time of year for fun, bright lights, action, fashion and entertainment that they've been waiting to experience - Little Rock Fashion Week (LRFW). The fourth annual LRFW is July 16-21. This year LRFW is being held at locations throughout Little Rock and North Little Rock. The experience will highlight the fashion brands by emerging local, national, and European designers, including the art by hairstylists, makeup artists and popular musicians.

It's an experience that promises to be one-of-a-kind throughout, and Brandon D. Campbell, LRFW's founder and executive producer, isn't sparing too many details on the creative aspects of each presentation. He's describing the 2012 installment as "reality fashionment experiences."

CONWAY, Ark. (AETN) — The PBS Arts Summer Festival will premiere on the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) as part of AETN Arts Fridays June 29. AETN Arts Fridays provides Arkansans with world-class arts and culture programming, including the locally produced series “AETN Presents” at 6:30 p.m. and the PBS Arts Summer Festival at 9 p.m.

The PBS Arts Summer Festival expands the scope and diversity of the arts on television with a multi-part, weekly series and new, original online content that take viewers across the country and around the world. Award-winning television, film and stage star Anna Deavere Smith (“Nurse Jackie,” “The West Wing”) will serve as weekly host for the festival.
